I AM BRAND NEW TO MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SPECIFIC DUAL TEMPERATURE GAUGE. IT REMAINS PRECISION AND HAS A ROBUST CONSTRUCTION. I RECOMMEND THIS FOR BOTH THE HOT SIDE AND THE COLD SIDE, EXCEPT FOR THE THERMOCOUPLE WHICH ARE SUPPLIED WITH THE PRODUCT. MEASURING THE TEMPERATURE ON THE HOT SIDE REQUIRES A THERMOCOUPLE WITH MORE EFFICIENT TEMPERATURES. THE METER ITSELF IS A DEFINITE PLUS.
