I really like these connectors. I use different ones for different applications. Huge power draining RC cars/trucks get XT90 with spark arrestor and EC5 (but I'm trying to convert them to XT90 right now). Smaller regular pull RCs have XT60s and all of my electric airsoft guns have deans because they are super compact and still work with powerful switching amplifiers. These are official Amass connectors and the quality is very good. They carry weight to them and feel like they will last a lifetime. The easiest connectors to solder and withstand high temperatures longer than your iron's EC5 connectors. While great, EC5 can be a challenge to properly use the ball connectors and can melt the body much more easily. I still have to melt the XT90, but anything is possible :). Finally, the spark arrestor feature is a must-have for those of you who hate pops and sparks when you insert batteries, especially large batteries. I have a Traxxas UDR and with the standard TRX connectors and batteries mounted on trucks, it popped and sparked horribly every time. It just frankly annoys me. For example, when you're styling your hair and the barber holds the buzzer out of your line of sight and you're waiting for it to hit your neck. Not my idea of entertainment.
