The rug looks beautiful and was just what I wanted. It is not soft, it’s low ply and perfect for a high traffic area. We use it in a playroom. We put it down on brand new lvp flooring a few months ago and there is a significant blank ash residue underneath the rug. This is not present with any other rugs we own and have on this floor. It isn’t moisture or mold but an ash that can be wiped up. I’m concerned that this may be bad for our family so we need to get rid of it. It stinks bc I love the look and this cost almost $400. So ultimately I’m very disappointed in this purchase.
