Review on πŸ”΅ HamiltonBuhl 5050ULTRA Educational Boombox: Blue CD Player Recorder for Home Learning - Compact Size by Ryan Turner

Revainrating 3 out of 5

While it lasted, good for the average "old school " cassette mixtape translations I did in the 80's.

At first I loved this device! Allowed me to copy my old tapes and CDs to a flash drive for downloading to my computer in digital format! Somewhat "learning curve" as the instruction manual is a bit vague. They were for. The "cons" are as follows: It's a great product design on paper, but the actual quality of this device sucks. The construction is cheap and "plastic". after only 2 months of use the device started to deteriorate! the audio playback quality deteriorated from medium to very poor, then the cd player started skipping/scraping tracks. I'm currently trying to look at warranty/replacement options for this. I don't know if I was just unlucky and got a "lemon" or if all these devices are just poor quality. This is a "disposable" device. ' instead of permanent audio devices. Not for heavy use - only suitable for limited and occasional light transmission of digital music.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
