I bought these to replace the sagging rear springs in my 2002 4Runner and they fit perfectly. Installation wasn't too difficult. I chose not to separate any suspension components or brake lines. I "rented" (free at any auto parts store) a spring compressor, lifted the rear end out of the differential pumpkin, removed the rear tires and set them aside, braced the rear frame with jack stands, and lowered the axle as far as I could. You can now use a spring compressor to remove the old springs fairly quickly, but installing larger springs is more difficult and requires a bit of compression and some trial and error. The ride quality is the same as the original and it also helped keep the rear end from flinching under braking, which is great. In combination with some new shock absorbers, that makes a huge difference.
