Great feathers for the price.

Combined with KYB Gas-A-Just shocks on a 2001 4Runner rear suspension and Detroit Axle front stays. The ride is very good. The height goes well with Detroit Axle struts and springs. Approximately 35.75 inches from floor to fender edge with stock tires and 16 inch wheels. They are slightly higher than the springs from 2001. However, they are not overpowered. If you tow or tow a lot of trailers, use OME springs.

Noticed some sag after about 5km, update: some sag after 10+km

Overall I'm happy with the ride quality but I noticed they were starting to sag a bit. I matched them with 81088 for the front and Bilstein 5100 for all around. The photo was taken after installation and the 4runner sat flat when the springs were new. Sagging can be fixed quite cheaply, but with the help of spacers. Update: After going another 5,000 miles they have some fall. Recommend OME springs for the rear, which I will definitely do in the future.

Soft, comfortable but too soft to tow

They definitely lift the back of my 97ft 4runner enough to take out the sag and they ride nice and soft. But the pleasantly soft handling carries no weight when towing. My lightweight trailer raft, which I can lift by my tongue and move myself, hung the back of my truck comically low, almost worse than the stock springs I replaced. If you are absolutely looking for a comfortable, smooth ride at a great price, then this is for you. If towing or towing is your plan, I would definitely bite the…

2000 Toyota 4runner Sr5 2wd v6 3.4L

The back of my 4 runner was quite saggy. After 160,000 miles I figured it was time to replace them and the rear shocks. These coils are made for the 3rd gen version of the 4x4 T4R and yes they fit my 2wd although Amazon says they don't. It definitely fixed my rear fall. I have paired these coils with KYB Gas-A-Justs and the ride is MUCH better. Best value for money if you're trying to stay in stock. Now I'm thinking about replacing the front struts/coils but the job is expensive so it's time to

Replaced sagging 4Runner springs

I bought these to replace the sagging rear springs in my 2002 4Runner and they fit perfectly. Installation wasn't too difficult. I chose not to separate any suspension components or brake lines. I "rented" (free at any auto parts store) a spring compressor, lifted the rear end out of the differential pumpkin, removed the rear tires and set them aside, braced the rear frame with jack stands, and lowered the axle as far as I could. You can now use a spring compressor to remove the old springs…
