Logitech has been my favorite M&K brand for years since Microsoft's quality has slipped. I had no complaints before the last two Logitech M510s failed me the same way during the warranty period. Left mouse button clicks are registered as double clicks or not at all. Seems to be a common problem (read the 1 star reviews). Logitech support gave me a workaround for the first problem: clean the mouse, try a different USB port, blah blah blah. Eventually I got fed up and just bought a new one. Mission accomplished for the support I think. Then the second failed too. I haven't used it for gaming, so it doesn't look like the button has been overused. Otherwise, the performance of the 510 is ok. You can't use the Logitech Gaming Software with it, but for general use it's accurate and very comfortable. The merging receiver is useful if you also use a Logitech keyboard. Mouse range is small, but they never are. So far so good, but I don't want to change it every few months. I don't know if this is a model or the Logitech quality in general, but I'll definitely be reading low reviews from now on.
