Worst mouse I've used in years

This mouse feels like I went back 15 years with this mouse. Terribly trackable. I have to keep picking it up and moving it around so it restores the pointer. I tried different surfaces and even went so far as to order a new custom mouse pad (yes, I didn't have it on hand as I thought most mouse manufacturers had made it obsolete). Vain. The mouse pad was only a modest improvement. I would return the damn thing if I still had the original packaging material but I throw it away too quickly not…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Expensive

Tired of switching back and forth between home and work use, I decided to get a second mouse for the office. The price of this mouse seemed right so I figured I'd buy it. I've been using it for a few weeks now and here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. Bigger than most portable mice - I have big hands and I usually find most laptop/wireless mice to be on the small side. Scroll without friction. I work a lot with spreadsheets, and the constant typing while scrolling the wheel on most mice gets on…

The left button does not work. Downgrade Logitech?

Logitech has been my favorite M&K brand for years since Microsoft's quality has slipped. I had no complaints before the last two Logitech M510s failed me the same way during the warranty period. Left mouse button clicks are registered as double clicks or not at all. Seems to be a common problem (read the 1 star reviews). Logitech support gave me a workaround for the first problem: clean the mouse, try a different USB port, blah blah blah. Eventually I got fed up and just bought a new one…

Chunky computers and accessories

I bought this product because I've been very impressed with Logitech purchases in the past. But I'm disappointed with this mouse for several reasons: 1. The wheel used for scrolling is very clumsy. I'm used to it and prefer a smooth-running steering wheel. 2. Instructions on a small piece of paper in four languages; so the font size is around 1 or 2; impossible to read. What's the point of inserting "instructions" if you take away people's ability to read? Does it meet all regulatory…

The best mouse for every day. :-)

I can't talk about gaming but as a business mouse it's the best I've tried. Very responsive, no wake-up delay, no communication problems, no interference with other mice in the office, 1.5 to 2 years of battery life, there is space for a key in the mouse, very ergonomic, perfect size, perfect weight, perfect resistance to wooden surface, remains almost never get stuck on the sensor by dirt, invisible laser, works well on all surfaces except transparent glass, the roller (middle button) has a…

Great product - great price!

I've tried every mouse, from those that cost close to $100 to those that are so cheap you'd expect them to fall apart. This $25 Logitech mouse is the PERFECT price with an amazing product that rivals any others I have used. My devices take a lot of abuse. I'm a web designer and am constantly changing graphics/images. My last one lasted three years and the sensor eventually wore out. For $25 I'm a happy camper and have no problem replacing it considering how many times it's been used. Its…

Double click after a year.

This replaces the first one I received and I liked it so much I bought another one when after a year of heavy use it started to double click on a single press. I don't care because it was a great "regular" mouse with all the bells and whistles, but I wasn't trying to be anything else. UPDATE: I loved this mouse BUT: I ordered my first mouse in August '16. It started double clicking and deleting what I didn't want to delete. I ordered another one in September '17. It's February '18 and my second

I get my 2nd purchase on September 28, 2020, it's only been working fine for 4 days and it's already starting to click, it depends on this mouse, not what I'm showing and click Double-click again, but not as many times as the first. The first purchase in February 2020 only works for 4 months and starts by itself with double-clicking. I had to buy another one because I was worried that this mouse might erase my important files by itself. one star for comfort in hand. The only reason I'm buying…

5 years, 2 M510 and my thoughts!

After years of loyal service it's finally time to retire my old Logitech M510. Years of video gaming, office work, and general violence have taken their toll. The left mouse button no longer registers a hold, but only repeats the click. The scroll wheel now skips all other scrolling movements. The rubber pads on the sides are worn out from thousands of hours of use. And that was about it. Everything else still works great! It is really incredible. This thing survived a player's button press in…

Great mouse and more!

The Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse is a very comfortable and quiet mouse. This is a full-size mouse that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. The weight of the mouse is "just right". The body of the mouse is symmetrical, making it equally suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users. Mouse movements and the scroll wheel work absolutely smoothly without jerking or jerking. The optical performance of the mouse is very stable on bad surfaces. It works equally well on a mouse pad, on a…
