Mornings are darker this time of year. I catch myself starting my daily commute in the dark. These goggles are perfect for early morning or late night driving. I love the fact that I don't have to carry two glasses with me. They are really comfortable and had no problem with the bright sun. As said, they might not be as dark as you'd like or think you need, but there's no problem with them. I find my eyes are relaxed and not squinting due to glare or brightness. I enjoy them very much and even forget they are on me because they are constantly changing in the morning darkness, shadow and sunrise. I can highly recommend these glasses.
