Exact replacement for the original pump

I would like to give this pump 5 stars but there was a small issue with the accuracy of the fuel gauge. Using the OEM pump assembly as standard, the F150 had just under 1/4 tank when replacing the pump. Fuel was not drained from the tank. The new pump went in without any problems, new seal was included. The fuel level sensor is definitely a lighter part, but its metering is very close to the original transmitter. OEM: empty = 20 ohms 1/2 tank = 90 ohms full tank = 190 ohms. New ECCPP unit: empty = 18 ohms 1/2 tank = 88 ohms full tank = 188 ohms. Very close. In fact, the new pump shows about 1/8 tank MORE than the normal unit. The 25 gallon tank had about 4 gallons of fuel (1/6 tank) but the new fuel pump/transfer assembly showed a little OVER 1/4 tank. I never run my tank dry and consider the 1/4 tank mark "empty" to avoid running the pump dry which is the cause of many fuel pump failures. In general a good item for the money, it fits well, the connections are correct. The large tank was more difficult to handle than most, but with the help of a friend, the tank was reinstalled in less than an hour.
