I ordered this because I fried my hair bleaching it several months ago and everytime I try to do something with it, it just breaks and does more damage. I tried this straightener the day it came in and I was actually REALLY surprised. It made my hair so smooth! It didnt pull my hair or like stop at certain spots in my hair like other ones I've used. Smooth glide root to end. And I only needed 2 passes MAX and that's on damaged hair. I was floored honestly. It heated up really quickly and stayed hot. Took no time to finish my hair when usually it takes me an hour plus I'm constantly having to put product in it while I'm doing my hair. I used no product with this and my hair was soft and smooth and looked great.The only things that I am not crazy about is1. It seemed like the temp kept rising while I was doing my hair. It heated up quickly and worked great at that temp but by the time I got to the last couple of sections, it was really hot. So be mindful of that because too much heat can cause damage.2. The outside got REALLY hot. I've had a lot of straighteners do that and I've had two straighteners MELT so it's important to note. The tip didnt get hot so I could touch it there while I was.working but the sides and outside will get hot enough to burn you.Overall I really like it. It works really well. I'll update if that changes
