I'm so glad I thought this treadmill might work for my purpose, I have a medium pile carpet and am a home breeder of small Yorkshire Terriers. I needed something to protect my carpet when the puppies were old enough for their play yard in my house when they were installed. Which I had worked BUT the puppies could chew on the protection I had before and this was unacceptable as they could gnaw off parts of the corners. With this rug, I simply applied a warm blow dryer to remove any small wrinkles from the rug so that it lays flat on the carpet. So now I just put the potty liners on and not worry about the puppies kicking when they move the potty liners. No chewing on the rubber foam I had before. The puppies are still in the kennel but soon I will take them to the playground where they will live until moving to a new home. This runner allows me to catch the corners by taping them up and keep the pups from ruining them. When her new playyard arrives tomorrow (the old one after 9 years of poop) I will set everything up and be ready to transfer the puppies.
