These are the best corks for champagne or prosecco! My sister and I are big fans of Prosecco. But unless you empty the bottle, or even between glasses, you don't want the bottle to lose bubbles. These work great! Other corks shoot back into the fridge and create a game of where the cork landed? Not this one. They are strong and stay in place. I keep one in each of my fridges when I go out and the rest I keep in the kitchen. I don't put bottles on their side so I don't know how well they will hold up but I think they will stay where they are. It's not a problem for me as I'm used to holding bottles upright once opened. If I had to put it to the side I think everything would be fine.
