Review on ๐Ÿš€ Experience Power and Speed with AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Processor by Stanislaw Gorka แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Iยณ'm satisfied with the product, itยณ's well made and the price is also satisfying.

Back in 2022, I bought an i5-2500K and was so amazed by its power that I thought I would not return to AMD (I switched to it from Phenom II x2 unlocked to x4). i5-2500K was great for everyone and overclocking to 5 GHz, and solder under the lid and cold . Compared to the FX, it was a fairy tale . I still consider the FX the worst processor in history, and I have been communicating with computers for 25 years . But after the sandy bridge, Intel got stuck. Hong Konganent +3% to the previous generation. Constant change of sockets. Unrealistic prices, especially if the processor has more than 4 cores. And now it's time to change mine handsome i5-2500K and became the choice of i7-6800K + mother for 40k or Ryzen 7 1700+ mother for 23k . And I said to myself "enough to endure it!". Intel just intentionally cut their processors and turn the prices up . At the same time, they canโ€™t even make solder (solder costs the same as thermal paste). This is done on purpose! Let them sit on their Intels and change the motherboard every year . I hope AMD, after such a breakthrough as Ryzen (a breakthrough for their company), will not release the same failure as FX? If Ryzen 2-3-4 is the same as FX. Without a twinge of conscience, I will go back to Intel. In the meantime, Ryzen is my choice. 70 + fps gives out in any game. Moreover, I have a 1440p monitor and there is more emphasis on the 1080ti video card . And whoever has 4k (2160p) monica, the Ryzen 1600 is generally enough, because even 1080ti in 4k produces somewhere below 50 frames. PS my review about FX has collected more than 1000 dislikes =) True, it hurt people's eyes . Let's see what happens with this .

Pros
  • + The main advantage is the price + Price per core + 8 cores + Low TDP + Low consumption (not to be confused with TDP . TDP and consumption are different things, otherwise 90% think that this is the same thing) + Solder under the cover + Cheap motherboards with no overclocking restrictions
Cons
  • - Low overclocking frequency 3.8-3.9 is mainly taken. - Low performance per core / MHz), and coupled with low overclocking in a single thread, Ryzen looks sad. - Infiniti factories (the common bus of operation is only on one bus), so Ryzen needs RAM with 3200+ MHz and only two-rank (if you take 2 bars), if you take 4, then you need to take single-rank ones.
