If you want to constantly switch between two PCs with just one set of monitor, keyboard and mouse etc, this KVM is a must have. But not all KVMs are made equal. The main reason I chose this one is that this one can switch between 1 monitor and 4 USB 2 devices, unlike some KVMs that can only switch between 1 monitor and 2 USB devices a compact main unit in a metal case, HDMI, supplied cables, 2 USB cables and a wired remote switch. Setup is easy, you connect up to 4 USB 2 devices and an optional wired switch on one side and connections to 2 PCs and an HDMI monitor output on the other side. A bonus is that this switch is also a USB hub so initially 4 devices use 4 USB ports, with this switch only one USB port is needed at a time. Although it only supports USB2 speed, it is fast enough for keyboard, mouse and printer. I use the 4th USB port for an external audio decoder and you can use it for other devices like UPS etc. Switching between PCs is done by pressing a button on the top of the case, or if you want to hide the main unit you can use a small wired remote switch. The product description only mentions 4K at 30Hz, no mention of support for other resolutions. In my case at least if my monitor supports HDR at a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 at 75Hz no problem. Waking the PC from sleep also works well if your keyboard and/or mouse support this feature. a way to switch between two PCs without moving cables.
