Review on 📷 Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens with AF-S NIKKOR Technology by Duke Ballard

The lens is sharp. The lens is fast. Fixed focus breathing. Excellent. Now the downside: My subject was blurred in the right 1/4 of the frame. The center and left sides are ideal, the right side is blurry compared to the left - this is noticeable at f/2.8, f/4. Possibly a quality control issue. But do you expect such a problem from a lens at this price point? Unfortunately had to send it back, I'll try again next time. To update. Ordered this lens. This time the lens does not have this defect and I can get splitter images at all focus distances on the D750 (after increasing the auto focus setting by +5 in my camera settings). The lens seems best set at the long (200mm) end from the factory, at 70-105mm I still see some front focus and focus shift - but the focus point is still in the depth of field. I really like this lens now.
