1. Unfortunately, this is the first iPhone model in the last 10 years that has a flickering screen. The iPhone X is supplied with an AMOLED matrix manufactured by Samsung. As iXBT testing showed, at a brightness below 50%, the screen flickers (with 100% amplitude at a frequency of 60-200 hertz). For sensitive people like me, it causes visual fatigue and headaches. Also, the subpixels are made according to the PenTile layout (not RGB), which reduces the actual clarity of the screen. In other words, high resolution compensates for the lack of PenTile, but there is a waste of battery and CPU for higher resolution calculations. These two shortcomings are inherent in all Samsung smartphones with AMOLED matrices. iPhone X is a very unusual innovative smartphone. But for me personally, the flickering of the screen makes it impossible to use this phone for a long time. 2. You need to get used to the new control gestures. If you are used to the Home button, then at first it will be uncomfortable and unusual. But I think you can get used to it. 3. Use Apple Pay for purchases also needs to be relearned. First you need to turn on the smartphone (but not unlock it), look at the screen perpendicularly for Face ID to work, then attach it to the payment terminal. With Touch ID it was a little more convenient. I decided to stay on the iPhone 7 and wait for future models after the iPhone X - perhaps they will add a Touch ID scanner and fix the flickering problems.
