Works great on my 80 pound black lab who transforms from a happy, active senior dog to an 80 pound black lava boulder when he sees a cat or another dog he wants to play with or if he wants to go one way and I want to go another. He cannot slip the collar but it won't choke him either when I pull and insist he does what I want to do.This collar is easy to adjust and the size is as advertised. I tried another brand first but it was difficult to adjust and as large as it would go, it wouldn't fit my large dog. When adjusted for a smaller dog, the martingale effect didn't fit. Don't waste your money on another brand, this one is wonderful.
