This is the best magnetic mount I've ever tried. It fits perfectly between the double deck main unit and the control buttons where the hazard button is located above the HVAC controls in my 2008 Laredo, and the magnet strength is stronger than others I've tried. I have a plate on the plastic of an Otterbox with rubber on it. I'm on a Samsung s9+ and it's the only thing holding my phone up on the bumpy roads I drive on. The phone is still moving but not flying. The only thing that worries me a little is the sun and the reflections of the street lamps, which shine brightly in my eyes from the shiny metal edge. It doesn't dazzle, it distracts. I can use a good highlighter to darken it. Overall I'm very happy with it!
