Suffers from the same problems as other pre-made bird nests. That. While it wasn't their favorite perch or nest, they certainly didn't avoid it. Besides, I didn't really care. The fabric and fibers used are too coarse and end up in frayed, raised edges. Maybe that's why the birds chewed and tore it up, which they haven't done in any other nest I've bought. The included wire brackets are still cumbersome to place the nest securely and require not only hooking to the cage bars but also manual twisting to keep the nest securely in place. Finally, the rather small opening prevented the birds from taking the nest material inside, which further deterred them from wanting to spend the night in the nest. All in all, this is not a very good product. While no prefab nest is perfect, this should be avoided.
