Good: I use this product to watch movies. It has a uniform and evenly bright surface that is cool to the touch. The surface is completely flat up to the edges, so you can put a larger sheet of paper or transparencies on it. It's THIN (about 5/16 inch!) It has soft felt feet that protect the table from scratches. I've been running this light box for hours with no light fluctuations. Fits an 8.5" x 11" picture to the edge, leaving room for free space. The Bad: The power cord is a miserable 3ft 9in. I mean seriously - not even 4 feet? do it from your desk to the floor. It must stay on (cannot " psc=1 the label and centimeter marks remain on the surface (so if you don't need or need them, you can't remove them). The markers are small but distract from the overall space. I would give this product 5 stars if they made a decent length power cord with a switching power supply. The power button is now touch controlled and I'm afraid it won't last as long as a traditional switch. Conclusion: Exactly what I was looking for in this price range. I also bought a case (case) for a MacBookPro 15" that is perfect for this item (with lanyard!).
