Good Plex media server
I hooked it up to our main TV and sound system and am using it as a Plex media server and the media is stored on the NAS. For this purpose it works great. Hardware-accelerated video transcoding consumes few system resources and runs smoothly. Fan noise was noticeable when the computer was on a shelf in the entertainment closet. Thin pieces of foam under rubber feet eliminated fan vibration transmitted to the shelf. That solved the noise problem. The vents on the bottom must remain open for proper cooling.
