Pretty Good Fabric Paint

I bought this liquid fabric paint to use with a fabric marker set to paint my own cat t-shirts. My first project was to update or refresh an old cat. a t-shirt that has faded and cracked over the years. I bought this set based on the reviews, the number of colors, the 2 ounce bottles and the bonus brushes included. This kit contains a variety of colors to mix to achieve specific shades. So far I've upgraded a t-shirt and it looks better than when I bought it. I've added some small pawprints to hide the conspicuous food stain and even updated the kitty in the bag, having a tail and looking like one of my rescue cats. I am very happy with the results. dried. Mine dried out overnight. 8 o'clock? I used my hair dryer to set the color as I was planning on wearing it that day. (This paint does not require heat to permanently set the color, but my fabric markers used to trace did require heat. My hair dryer worked fine.) A few days later, the shirt was machine washed on a normal cycle and turned into dried in a normal cycle with other clothes. The color has not faded or peeled off. This color is saturated but also translucent. Multiple layers of paint still allow you to see darker ink or fabric markers used for design or outline. I used fabric markers to redesign the cat and mark the paw prints on my shirt. It worked very well. Adding additional thin layers of paint as it dries will result in a deeper, slightly less translucent color. Colors are fairly saturated and vibrant but don't work on darker fabrics. Don't wear white t-shirts because they bleed too easily, but these colors work great with white if you want pure white in your design. As my shirts are grey, white paint was not suitable for adding a white dot in a cat's eyes as it is more transparent than white even after several coats. Hose, I have a plan. Acrylic paint is said to be washable, but once it dries it can be permanent. I intend mixing some white acrylic paint with this white fabric paint to see if I can get an opaque white. Will it work? The colors are also likely to be less translucent and more opaque for dark fabrics. 💡 If it works 😻 and I can edit my review 😺,
