just insert, twist and pull!

I love my girlfriend very much! Enough that she moved in with me a few months ago. As a bachelor living alone for the last 5 years this has been a big change. I rarely cook now, I can't remember the last time I washed dishes, she even likes to mow the lawn! What a catch. It really was a win-win situation. Until I noticed more and more every day that my shower was gradually turning into a bathtub. She has a lot of hair and seems to shed more than a cat. Whatever, I ordered these villains to take care of this problem. Arrived quickly as always and I quickly ran to the bathroom and followed the helpful instructions. I stuck the father-son faucet down the shower drain, turned it around a few times, and then tried to pull it out. CLICK. Did I put it in wrong? Or did I turn too fast? I have no idea because I have no idea what those words mean. I know what "pull" means, so I'm sure I did it right. I grabbed a pair of needle nose pliers and pulled out the broken part. Beside it appeared a tuft of hair the size of a small rat. Seriously, I'm not even sure how this mass ended up in the sewers. I launched another one of those wonder tools and pulled out a few more chunks. Pooh. Put on a glove next time, I. Tested the shower and now it flows like a champ. Summary: Pretty thin and fragile, but with shipping they're practically free. They did their job so a clear win in my book (recommend having some kind of pliers because they will break).

Pros
  • This is a snake-shaped drain with multiple teeth that effectively catches hair, food and other debris.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
