Exceeds all expectations!

God, I feel honored to be able to rate such a great, high-quality kitchen knife! I mean it in all seriousness. This bread knife from Sennecko is so beautiful and so well made that it really is a pleasure to look at. The presentation box is by far the best I've seen. I would compare it to a Rolex or Patek Philippe presentation box, but for kitchen knives. Of course, this did not detract from the quality of the knife itself, but I was impressed by a very beautiful wooden box. The knife is heavy, beautiful and very sharp. The handle is beautiful. As far as I can tell this is a full tang blade - I'd be shocked if it wasn't (especially given the weight). It's nice to hold in your hands. It's almost like not slicing regular bread lol! But I think there has to be top-of-the-line bread knives. And, boy, is that all. I feel like I should give a little warning about how sharp this knife is. Bread knives have a reputation for not being as sharp as they should be. This is by far the sharpest bread knife I have ever used. This may be the sharpest knife I've ever owned, it's that sharp. So please be careful with it when you cut bread. Don't dip your fingers a few inches below the cut line and don't think you'll be fine. This thing will cut through him in no time. On first use, maybe try holding the bread with tongs instead of your fingers - then you don't have to go to the emergency room. This is such a beautiful knife - it would make a great gift for any chef - at home or professionally. Highly recommended!
