Review on ISM Berkley Comfort Saddle Black by John Talcott

Exactly what I was looking for!

So I was looking for a bike seat that would not press on the area of soft tissue that can irritate the prostate. On my previous seat, I noticed BPH-like issues after riding for 3-4 days. A visit to the urologist (always funny) didn't reveal an enlarged prostate but he did say that cycling with a traditional saddle can irritate the prostate and cause similar symptoms in some people and that I probably fall into that category. This seat was just what I needed. It's firmer than other "comfort" seats and I immediately noticed that the pressure was right on my sit bones and the soft tissues between my legs weren't making contact with the seat at all. A firmer feel is important here, as seats that are too soft tend to "shrink" and make contact with soft tissue, even if they have that center cutout. Of course, the other big change is the absence of the traditional horn on this seat. I was concerned that this might cut power or result in less control. I was very pleasantly surprised to find exactly the opposite: I have MUCH more strength now, mainly because I can lean forward when pedaling WITHOUT the undue pressure between my legs that I would have with my previous seat. And the control is just as good - if you're a serious rider you might need a horn saddle for that extra control, but for those who use the bike for commuting it's great! And for what it's worth, I don't slow down on my commute, so even though I ride a hybrid road bike, performance is important to me - and as I said, ISM increased my performance, not decreased it.
