The temperature is normal, it didn't fit perfectly, maybe it's the interior lining.
This mirror does not quite fit the plastic backing of my 10 Traverse although the description says it is the correct mirror. I would recommend ordering the glass and backing together, the plate slides in and out easily on models this mirror glass fits. Putting it on a broken mirror might make it a better fit, the reviews reflect that. I'm using it as a temporary measure, ordered a replacement heated glass with a plastic backing plate mainly because I don't want the connector hanging in the mirror housing (knowing beforehand if you have heated mirrors wouldn't be my best run in DIY).
