Don't skimp on a tripod. Get the best you can right out of the gate. just grit your teeth and take the plunge. By not doing this and having bought several tripods that didn't meet my needs, I finally got my wife to let me buy this one. (LOL yes I had to work really hard to sell this purchase!) This tripod is just amazing. Looks like a wonderful work of art. Wonderful design. Massive but fairly light - I think I have the largest of them. easy to install, durable as possible. Combined with a gimbal head, it holds a full-frame DSLR and a large telephoto lens stably. and that's half the cost of two or three top brands. I don't know why I waited to buy a better tripod. If Arthur Morris uses them, that's definitely enough for me. comes with a giant padded carry case with backpack straps, a second set of legs and metal spikes that screw into the legs. and a wide range of tools to download. The carrying case is big enough to fit my camera and tripod, so I can take the whole set in one bag to the field. You will never regret buying one of these Induro tripods. they really are a really great product for the price.
