I bought these with the intention of cutting off one end. My aftermarket bumper on my 13 JKUR has room for 4 headlights that are not round OEM fog lights. I wanted to hook up two of these as fog lights, but they didn't have a fog light connector. I also didn't want to cut the stock fog light connector off the wiring harness. So I bought them, cut off the end that connects to the light and screwed my lights onto it instead. I used the remaining end to connect it to the wire harness. The connectors on them that go to the end of the wiring harness can be swapped. They have no groove preventing you from putting them back together. One of my lights didn't come on and it took me a minute to realize I had the plug in the wrong way round. Just a note.
