I have two other phone mounts (different brands) in my car which I really like. Unfortunately, the hot Florida sun took a toll on the suction cups and they began to fall apart. I was looking for a replacement suction cup but didn't find what I needed. Instead I saw this product and thought why not? That's half the price of a full mount/mount, and the phone mounts I've had were fine anyway. I bought two of these and quickly replaced my phone holders with them. They seem pretty solid to be honest, and the "ball" at the end that attaches to the phone holder was just the right size. I was able to tighten the mount to the desired position and it still stays in place. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a good phone mount with a broken mount. It's fairly customizable and has worked in my car and SUV. You really can't go wrong if you make sure the holder fits the end of your hand. The suction is good and stays in place, so the only unknown is how many years of heat the suction cup can withstand. For half the price of a brand new install I'd say it's not a problem.
