I used this product about 20 years ago and knew it would work very well. I had to have the same small rust spots done on my cars and bought again. To avoid contaminating the entire bottle, I would suggest pouring a small amount into a disposable plastic cup. Just use a small brush and paint over the rust. Wait a few hours and it will turn into black smudges that you can paint on. Stops further rust formation. Very easy to use and does what it promises. Water soluble and easy to clean with a brush. Highly recommended.
