Works very reliably, no weird noises but those faint deep retro clicks that are almost reassuring. Just runs warm, never hot, even when transferring files for hours. Never had an issue with acceleration time, very responsive. I don't have much time but already have a better experience than Seagate. I decided to deduct a star as the exact model number is listed as HGST Ultrastar 7K4000 HUS724040ALE641 and you can get it with a slightly shorter and longer warranty. But if it's available for quick shipping in a day or so and the price is decent then go for it, it's a really solid drive.
