Since there is no way to ask a question about this product I will ask it here. Until this meter works as advertised, I bought this to measure the DC output voltage on my old DC motor welder. The machine puts out a maximum of 80V DC at full power, so not too much for a meter. When the welder is in operation, the counter does not light up. When I connect this gauge to a 12v battery or a 24v power tool battery it lights up and reads voltage so I'm not sure what the problem is. When the gauge is connected to the welder, I connect it directly to the weld terminals, so there shouldn't be any connection issues. So I'm summing it up as the gauge doesn't work as advertised.
