I bought this unit to use on an expensive bike I just bought. What you were not told or provided is that the device requires a SIM card. And you need to call an international number to use and activate it. Therefore, your data plan will most likely need to be changed and you need to be sure you have purchased the correct type of SIM card (Micro SIM). So take a trip to my carrier to see if they have that particular type and see if my network is working after calling China.
