Review on ๐Ÿ“ป Stay Prepared with the Aiworth Emergency Solar Hand Crank Radio - AM/FM/NOAA Weather Radio, LED Flashlight, Cell Phone Charger, SOS Alarm by Larry Morris

Essential piece of emergency kit

Good compact emergency radio. Multiple power supply methods (solar battery, 3 AAA batteries, rechargeable Li-ion battery or hand crank). The lithium-ion battery is charged via the included micro-USB cable. It doesn't come with a USB AC/DC adapter, but who doesn't have one these days (I have dedicated USB charging ports in some of my outlets), so I'm not deducting stars for that. Radio reception on FM and WB frequencies is surprisingly good. AM reception was ok but not the best. It uses a telescopic antenna located on the top of the device next to the solar panel and flashlight on/off switch. The flashlight is nice and bright. Large LCD screen backlit and easy to read. The radio station has an IPX-3 water protection class. The flashlight button on the top and various buttons on the front are covered with thick rubber to prevent water ingress. The charging port, USB port and 3.5mm headphone jacks are also covered with a rubber plug to protect them from the elements. Underneath the charging port cover is a built-in bottle opener built into a spring-loaded clip. This hanging clip allows you to instantly attach your radio to your backpack or strap. The device feels solid and the black part has a comfortable grip so it won't slip out of your hand. The high-contrast orange color makes it easy to Find your device even in low light. I didn't use the SOS button, but judging by other reviews it's pleasant and noisy. The device is compact As you can see from the photos I've attached, it's very light. Definitely happy with my purchase.
