Good strainer but 1 " wedge is not 1 "

This is a well made product and would have been easy to install except the 1" wedge is too small. It took me almost 2 hours to do this Opening hole and grinding the OD of the tube before I could mount it Should only be a 15 minute job once the hole was correct
