Doesn't work - image but no edges or guides in camera view

This is an update and downgrading of my initial review to 1 star from 4 stars. So I take my car to the Ford dealer to ask them to "retune" the camera so I can get my edge and steering lines back on my newly installed camera for my 2015 Ford Edge. After trying this for a few hours (which costs money!) they ran a diagnostic and found that this camera is not working on my computer even though it claims to be the same as the original camera. Bringing back the edges and lines of the steering is simply impossible with this camera. Also, I also noticed that the accuracy of the camera is much lower than the OEM camera. If you just want a backup view, this camera works just fine. Bottom line is I now have to ask Ford to order a camera and install a new one - only $630 - Oops! Although that seems like false advertising to me. The listing says the same part number as the original camera, but apparently it isn't. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA! First, buying one from Ford costs anywhere from $380 to $438! So the price is great. Installing the camera itself on my 2015 Ford Edge wasn't a big deal. You will need to remove all four tailgate trim panels, the handle, and disable the door switch. But in general, a full installation only takes about an hour. What they don't tell you is that although once installed you will have a working rear view camera, the view will be without the guidelines you had before i.e. green, yellow and red lines and helmsman lines any (e.g. titanium). To get them you need to calibrate/reconfigure the camera and to do that you have two options: 1. Take it to the dealer so they do it for you, the cost is unknown but probably not very economical.2. Buy a USB OBD cable, download the Forscan software on your Windows computer, then connect your computer to the car computer with the cable and calibrate (there is a video on how to do it). The cable should cost between $20 and $30. The software is free. If playing with a computer in the car is inconvenient, choose option 1! It would have been nice to have known this beforehand and even Revain might have offered a camera/cable included in the front. The camera view is great, I just want my lines back! It's all about the expectations of what you're getting with a purchase. I expected to replace the camera and everything will be fine. Well, as described above, not really!
