Quality cable, but with a little research there is a caveat. That. very aesthetic with a woven jacket. I would love to give 5 stars but I'm giving this 2 stars because. Cables sold as Category 7 are usually something like Category 6 cables, or at least you would hope so. At one point CAT7 was offered, but this cable has nothing to do with this equipment. So they can evade the actual approved specification by calling it Cat 7. So the actual specs of this cable remain a mystery. They call it Cat 7, either because it sounds better than 6a, or because they can avoid the cost of certification. Maybe something is out of spec. The best you can hope for is that it's Cat 6 or 6a. I use patch cords in my home network and my internet speed is only 50Mbps. To be honest the old 10/100 stuff would even suffice. So if it maxes out at 1Gbps for my hardware, I'll be happy. If you want 10Gbps or need good 1Gbps performance, look at a true Category 6 or Category 6a cable. If you don't care and want a cable that looks cool and can be an upgrade over a regular Category 5 cable, then maybe that's perfectly fine.
