It took some time but we found exactly what we wanted.

My husband bought and returned a pair of car chargers. He complained that they weren't what they used to be, with battery percentage displays. When we got this one he was really happy [finally] because not only could he see how low the battery was but other information as well. Other angry husbands will find out about this product.
