This is a really poor quality metal kettle, the lid on top leaks when you pour it, not through the steam holes but through the Seam of the lid itself. Passes boiling water. The temperature doesn't always bring the IP to what you set it to. Tried to do 212* for black tea, it often hovers around 203 and truncates when set to 212. Slow to heat up, unreliable and overall incredibly disappointing. I also burned myself from the leaky lid.
