I like to use this flexible neck kettle. It's perfect for multiple cups of coffee/tea or a cup of pasta. The rough surface looks elegant. In addition to the general simplicity of the design, the lack of an additional rim at the bottom of the electrical connector, easy reading of the temperature on the handle.

This is a really poor quality metal kettle, the lid on top leaks when you pour it, not through the steam holes but through the Seam of the lid itself. Passes boiling water. The temperature doesn't always bring the IP to what you set it to. Tried to do 212* for black tea, it often hovers around 203 and truncates when set to 212. Slow to heat up, unreliable and overall incredibly disappointing. I also burned myself from the leaky lid.

I spent probably a year looking at different kettles before settling on this one due to the built in digital thermometer and temperature flexibility. I wanted to try different teas again as a hobby, especially yerba mate which requires a low temperature. Most competitors have limited ability to change the temperature and expose the plastic to boiling water and/or steam. I really wanted to like the Leehoo kettle, but I didn't. I wasn't expecting the same features as more expensive temperature control kettles, but I expected them to work as advertised. I really like this and really wanted to take the time to respond to some of the bad reviews that bothered me and might bother others.1. The kettle does not spill water from the lid. The spout on this teapot starts at the bottom, so it needs to be tilted a bit. If the tilt is too strong, the lid won't stand up and drips a little. This does not pose a safety hazard as the electrical element is right in the middle of the floor - it is very difficult to get it wet.2. It doesn't burn fast. What…
