(only for 220V) Having used many different welding machines, I can definitely say that I need to use 20-50% more amps to get the same result as with more powerful and traditional welders. I seriously doubt this thing will work up to 205 amps maybe 150. He hates 6010 rods especially 3/32 and 1/8. I have to practically bury the rod in the metal to even contain the arc you're pulling back and it's gone, and at an additional 30+ amps on top of what you would normally use. Not recommended for beginners. I regret buying this. The 7018 rods work well as long as you increase the amperage to around 20-30% of the amperage normally used.
