Cannot live more than 6 months.
Bought four in the last two years. I use them in an outdoor wall light with a photocell. They are bright enough to illuminate a large area of the yard. I live in Texas where the summer heat is harsh outdoors and unfortunately these bulbs can't handle it. They only last about 6 months after turning on at dusk and turning off at dawn. In just 6 months of use they have cost me more money than I saved on electricity by giving up my mercury lamps. So I won't buy any more of these and will use LED bulbs now. My advice is not to buy it if you use it outdoors.
