Ignore the New York Times' praise—they're an average at best
Bought because they were NYTimes Wirecutter's top choice for reusable straws. And I have no idea why! There's nothing particularly impressive about these straws; They are like any other metal straw you can buy. The silicone tip is too loose at one end and feels too tight when you flip it - it's not clear how they're even supposed to be used. A tote bag is a nice idea, but impractical. The brush that comes with it is great. In general, I just don't understand why I paid a few extra dollars for them - they're not worth it!
