This is a reliable, professional phone system, especially when compared to systems, even Pansonic systems, that sell for $100 less. and often distorted. The sound in these phones is reliable and much clearer. While they have design features that the hard of hearing will appreciate, the average user will appreciate the sound quality, especially if the caller is using a crappy sounding cell phone. The tubes for this system are a bit taller and a bit heavier, but it's worth the trade-off. This also means they're better finished, which means better overall performance. A bought them after returning a less powerful Panasonic system.
