The 88-year-old loves her new phone. but we found a big problem.

A family member wanted a loud ringtone, amplified sound, large easy-to-read buttons, and a large cordless phone that was comfortable to hold. This phone has all the check boxes checked. The main problem: The answering machine does not work: 1. When the answering machine indicator is lit.2. Personal greeting recorded and acknowledged several times.3. When someone calls, they get a standard message. Leave a message after the beep. 4. No messages are actually recorded or displayed on the…

Excellent system, best accessories and consumables

This is a reliable, professional phone system, especially when compared to systems, even Pansonic systems, that sell for $100 less. and often distorted. The sound in these phones is reliable and much clearer. While they have design features that the hard of hearing will appreciate, the average user will appreciate the sound quality, especially if the caller is using a crappy sounding cell phone. The tubes for this system are a bit taller and a bit heavier, but it's worth the trade-off. This…

It works several times

This was a pain for me. I never know when it's not working properly. I suspect this comes into play when the battery isn't 100% charged. I pick up the phone to make a call, dial a number from the phone book or missed calls and immediately put it on speakerphone and when the person I'm calling answers, they can't hear me even if I answer Phone. speaker off. It happens many, many times a week and sometimes multiple times a day. I also have blue tooth problems. Not happy that such an expensive…

Will not connect to hearing aids or premium Bluetooth headphones

Me edit my review after a few uses. The phone works but after letters to Panasonic I changed my review of this phone. The reason I gave it one star is because you can only plug in a cheap bluetooth headset and I find that ridiculous for a phone like this. I have a Sennheiser Business Bluetooth which I can listen to with amazing sound etc but it doesn't connect properly to this phone and Panasonic won't change that. I will never use the Panasonic Bluetooth, we have two of these around the house…

Pros
  • Includes backup power, speakerphone, talking caller ID, talking keyboard and phone book, 9 speed dials, 250 number call barring, intercom, noise reduction, accessories and expands to 6 whistles

Great phone for anyone who needs glasses

II I have Bought a Panasonic KX-TGM430B because I was waiting for a phone with big buttons and a display I can see without glasses. I also wanted all phones to have a MIL (message indicator) so I could easily see if there were any messages from anywhere in the house. This phone is exactly what I was looking for as it has these features. The message display is big, bright, but almost impossible to miss, which is good. The phones are full-sized and comfortable, but the volume buttons on the side…

Pros
  • Hear and be heard loud and clear with Volume Boost to boost the caller's voice by up to 40dB, six voice tone settings and a loud ringer base
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Black Bluetooth Model In-Depth Review

Enjoy this phone after a few weeks. Block call immediately. (For those confused by the erroneous manual, this phone doesn't have a physical "LOCK" button as advertised. They block calls with the display when the phone is ringing.) 2) Rounded earpiece with a dimple and more sound holes than usual ; It's kind of an old fashioned design that sits comfortably in the ear and helps the hearing a bit I find. 3) The Slow Talk feature works quite well. I've used it before with faster interlocutors…
