This tote backpack is much larger than you probably imagine. It comfortably accommodates an adult house cat. Even more surprised by the quality. It is very well made from the seams and zippers to the eyelets and the plastic cover. I expect this to take many, many years. We don't attach it to the back but I think you could pretty easily, it even has a strap with a plastic buckle between the shoulder straps. You know, don't walk with your poor kitty. I bought this for my kitten. We left it open on the floor. She loves to play and lie in it, and while no one likes to be cooped up, she gets on well with car rides too. She looks through the plastic bubble and seems to be having fun. She seems to understand that she is safe there. Vets and technicians love it, as does everyone who sees it. Any insult that my kitty keeps rolling his head around in a bubble. It's super cute.
