Review on πŸͺŸ d-c-fix 346-0350 Rice Paper Privacy Glass Window Film, Self-Adhesive, 17"x78" Roll by Chris Huff

A bit tricky to use, but practice makes perfect.

Let me first say that this product offers privacy, you can see some shadows but nothing serious. I have used it on my office doors and now you don't see the clutter from the other side and it still lets in plenty of light which is a huge plus! Installation imperfection on the side of the window product. Depending on the incidence of light, however, air bubbles are visible on the opposite side of the window even after smoothing during assembly. Call me a perfectionist but this is very annoying and seems to be the norm with most products or I just can't get it right. There are 30 panes of glass in my French doors, not to mention the pain! When reading Revain's reviews of these types of products, the reviewer said that they took the product to Kinko's and asked for it to be tailored for them. I haven't tried it, but maybe I should. I've included photos of three products: frosted glass and textured glass look sticky, and this rice paper looks like contact paper. The matte sticky product seemed to look worse after drying, the glass look didn't show anything (yes!) and this product, the rice paper look, I chose for all the windows except the top row for a glassy look. It's kind of a static app, but without the use of water. It's more like contact paper, you will feel static electricity, but the product has an adhesive on the back. Once applied, it can be removed, but it's not as easy as a static electricity remover. However, the application is a bit tricky. For static products using water, you can move the product until it is in place, and need to peel and stick again, which is not easy! Plastic tablecloth. After application, the smell is not that noticeable and hopefully will disappear completely over time.
