Instead of waiting for an oil change. I tested it with engine oil already drained in a 5 liter jug from a previous change. The temperature in the garage has been 90 degrees for a few weeks, so while the oil is not hot, it is warm enough not to affect suction. I estimate it took 5 to 7 minutes. I turned it off a couple of times because the pump got very hot. Allow to cool, then siphon the same 5 liters back into the original jug. Again the pump got very hot so I turned it off. Operating time every 5 liters, 5 to 7 minutes, without cooling time. So two tests, 5 liters each time, the cycle shuts down due to overheating. I think this pump will work a few more times before it fails. It looks like he's working really hard for a slow job. Again, it's cheap $$, costs cheap $23, cheaply made, looks cheap. Maybe the "Project Farm" guy on YouTube "we'll check it out" can burn this test like he does with engines and we'll see how many changes he does for .jk good is.
