I did amazing, read all the reviews and great tips, watched some YouTube videos. Preparation and degreasing. Used a professional deglazer, light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper, heavy sanding on areas I thought were chafed and cracked. It turned out great. Translucent wood texture and beautiful semi-gloss sheen. I applied three coats, be aware the first coat will look like shit. I would highly recommend removing all the drawers and doors to do this finish, it makes the application a lot easier and kind of saves you from running around trying to shove paint into nooks and crannies that aren't there when things are done be removed.
